Bliss, defined as perfect happiness , great joy (dictionary.com) can be an elusive feeling for most nurses. We are too busy creating comfort and safety to others. My bliss is the beach in Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico. Quiet, turquoise green blue water, and waves faithfully gliding in and out guided by the moon phases. There is peace in the regularity leaving a meditative space.

We had a full moon last week and I remember working in the hospital and thinking, well, the strangest situations will come our way tonight. Do you have a full moon story in your life you want to share?
